Supported Employment Evaluation System

Since 1993, the SECT Center and The Center for Mental Health have collected information about supported employment services provided at community mental health centers in Indiana. Ball State University's Department of Psychological Science and the Social Science Research Center (SSRC) evaluate these data and maintain regular accounts of the results. Currently there is information collected on over three thousand persons served at twenty-eight mental health centers. This information may be used to:
  • Select a mental health center for supported employment services based on outcome information
  • Compare outcomes between agencies for marketing purposes
  • Compare outcomes within an agency for program improvement purposes
  • Track the historical success of supported employment services provided by mental health centers in Indiana
