The Supported Employment Consultation & Training (SECT) Center within The Center for Mental Health provides training, consultation, best practice recommendations, and support to those who provide employment services to promote employment opportunities for individuals with serious mental illness in Indiana. The mission of the SECT Center is "To promote, enhance, and expand quality employment services for individuals with serious mental illness." The SECT Center has become nationally recognized for assisting community mental health centers in developing innovative, results-oriented supported employment programs. The SECT Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education/National Institute on Disabilities and Rehabilitation Research, and administered by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration/Division of Disability, and Rehabilitative Services and the Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
